The BDP Inc. team
continues to demonstrate success
with process control solutions
while maximizing the benefit of
installed DCS/PLC control
systems. Recent projects
have included BDP Inc.
engineering services for site
surveys, system definition,
design packages, control strategy
design, advanced process control
& optimization, configuration
& testing, operator training,
control system commissioning, and
loop analysis & tuning.
Depending on client preferences
for the project scope split, the
responsibilities assigned to the
BDP team have included general
contractor for brown field
I&E upgrades, owner engineer
to manage a technical scope,
supplier of assembled &
tested control system equipment,
and process control consultant to
evaluate & improve plant
performance.
The majority of BDP
Inc. projects focus on the
natural gas industry including
well head automation, SCADA for
gathering systems, compressor
station controls, gas plant
automation, and advanced control
solutions for liquid recovery and
NGL fractionation. BDP Inc.
offers project services
throughout the continental United
States, and BDP has provided
control system services to
mechanical contractors delivering
skid-mounted plants to overseas
destinations. From our
offices near Houston, Texas, the
BDP team also provides system
integration and advanced control
services to the power, chemical,
and refining industries along the
Gulf Coast.
