Eagle Ford drilling drives NGL processing projects

The BDP Inc. team is currently involved in several projects to increase natural gas liquids (NGL) production across south Texas. The increase in Eagle Ford Shale drilling continues to motivate investments in processing expansions, facility upgrades, as well as new plant construction. Many operating companies have funding approved and projects underway that include pipeline interconnects, cryogenic gas processing plants, and NGL fractionation facilities. The BDP Inc. team provides automation services and engineered solutions, which are tailored on a project basis to supplement the operating company staff and their selected mechanical contractor.

A sample of Eagle Ford projects underway at BDP Inc. in the first few months of 2011 include:

<> PCS and SIS design, panel assembly, configuration, and commissioning for a NGL fractionation facility expansion

<> PCS design, panel assembly, configuration, and commissioning to add an additional condensate stabilizer at a gas processing facility

<> PCS and SIS engineering, configuration, and commissioning for a grass-roots cryogenic gas processing plant

<> PLC / HMI control system upgrade and expansion to support cryogenic gas plant capacity increase

<> PCS and SIS design, panel assembly, configuration, and commissioning for a cryogenic gas plant upgrade using Ortloff Engineers Gas Plant in a Bottle ^TM technology

<> Front-end study for a PCS upgrade at a combined cryogenic gas processing plant with NGL fractionators
