BDP Inc. is
currently participating in
control system projects for
grass-roots construction as well
as existing plant upgrades where
the services offered by BDP Inc.
are tailored to meet our
client’s needs. New
plant construction and process
expansions require a
multi-discipline team to engineer
and construct the plant
facilities. The BDP team is
providing application expertise
to configure and test the
selected process automation
system, where all purchased
equipment and installation
services are typically provided
by others. These
grass-roots construction projects
are managed by the Owner and
their EPC contractor to provide
coordinated design, procurement,
construction, and startup
services. BDP engineers
follow the process automation
system to the field to
participate in control system
commissioning and plant
startup. Post project
services available from BDP Inc.
include loop tuning, operator
training, and control strategy
enhancements for improved plant
performance.
BDP Inc. is
currently providing comprehensive
services for control system
upgrades at existing plants,
where the project scope is
limited to instrument and
electrical upgrades associated
with the new process automation
system. Acting as the Main
Automation Contractor (or MAC),
BDP Inc. provides project
management, design engineering,
procurement, control system
assembly, programming, testing,
installation, and commissioning
services as part of a turn-key
project. The BDP team also
offers consulting services to
assist our clients with scope
development, equipment selection,
and control strategy designs to
maximize the benefit of the new
process automation system.
BDP engineers provide on-site
services to ensure a smooth
transition from the legacy
control system to the new
LCD-based control center, and
provide ongoing technical support
for control system
troubleshooting, training, and
enhancements.
From short-service
consulting to full-scope control
system upgrades, the BDP team is
available to assist with your
plant improvement projects.
